Israeli operations affected one of their patrol, with gunfire and an explosion impacting near their forces, according to a report by UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon.

UN Security Council starts talks on fate of peacekeeping force in Lebanon

When asked for comment on whether the US wanted to wind down UNIFIL, a State Department spokesperson said: “We don't comment on ongoing UN Security Council negotiations."
