Netanyahu speech to congress

Many American Jews hate Israeli meddling in American politics, even if they admit that the US administration does not hesitate to step into the Israeli political arena.

They noted that Congress had made a “terrible mistake” in inviting Netanyahu since, in his appearance, he would not “represent the State of Israel and its citizens.”

Netanyahu’s potential Congressional address risks damaging Israeli-American relations further, similar to past conflicts. His leadership faces criticism amid domestic and international challenges.

Ynet also noted that Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer intended to sign the letter of invitation; Netanyahu agreed to the invitation, though a date for the speech has not yet been set. 

“All students deserve to learn and live on college campuses without fear of discrimination, harassment, or intimidation,” Manning said in the release.

The first time Netanyahu met Obama was in 2007 when the former was opposition leader and the latter was a freshman senator.

To advance its diplomatic opening to Iran, the administration spied on both law-abiding US citizens and on US lawmakers.

The Clarion Project has a series of seven videos that urge Americans to write to their representatives in congress.

"Netanyahu committed the original sin of intervening in American domestic politics and ruined relations with US," says the Zionist Union knesset member.

While the speech in Congress did come up during the meeting, the main focus was on the Iranian nuclear negotiations. Netanyahu is continuing to be outspoken in his opposition to the Iran deal.
