Current comptroller Matanyahu Englman said his office has been tracking the issue and may initiate a more comprehensive probe given the extent of the tragedy.

The event is a national tragedy, and should be treated as such, irrespective of whom the victims are, and how loyal or disloyal they were to the state.

Safety wasn't the first consideration, as – unfortunately – is often the case in this country.
