Republican lawmakers take to X, warning that a reported 60-day Iran ceasefire deal could strengthen Tehran and undermine US gains from the conflict.

The Strait of Hormuz has been a key issue raised by both the US and Iran after each country imposed closures and blockades of the waterway.
