An Israel diplomatic source says there is no increased alert in Delhi and that the report sounds like a description of a security drill that took place earlier this year.

Lavrov arrived in Delhi on Thursday from China, where he had hailed Beijing as part of a new “multipolar, just, democratic world order.”

The trial included two interceptors that were launched from a portable land-based system and two others from a naval-based system - and the system's radar managed to detect all four.

This is the second time the two leaders have made back-to-back trips.

India is working on at least six free trade agreements, including one with the United Arab Emirates that can create a gateway for Indian trade to the Middle East and Africa.

There is no doubt that India’s position in the region and its importance for Israel will increase as cooperation continues to be stable and deep.

Israel has been supplying India with various weapons systems, missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles over the last few years, making India one of Israel’s largest buyers of military hardware

Knesset speaker Mickey Levy said he looked forward to working with his Indian counterpart, Speaker of Lok Sabha Mr. Om Birla, with whom he will establish the friendship group.

Lapid thanked Jaishankar for his visit, marking the start of celebrations of 30 years of ties between the countries.
