Car accident

A 65-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman, a 13-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy were all killed in a car accident on Highway 90 on Saturday afternoon.

Many, many lives are lost on Israel’s roads each year and not enough is being done to prevent it. Instead, the state of the roads here is a source of much mirth.

MK Orit Struck's son, age 25, and his two children, aged two and four, were evacuated by Magen David Adom medics to the hospital.

The three killed were identified as Tzipi Shimoni, Fentanesh Obenach and Matanya Ayubi, who have left behind 10, eight and three children respectively.

The wounded received first aid from MDA and IDF medical staff and were evacuated to Soroka Hospital.

Another man suffering from injuries to his chest and limbs was evacuated him to a hospital in fair and stable condition.

A 42-year-old Israeli citizen and a resident of the PA were killed in the accident and five Palestinians were moderately injured.
