Two Israelis were critically injured and 10 were seriously to lightly injured in car crashes south of Beersheba and in the Negev.

Some 361 people died in car accidents in Israel over the last 12 months.

"We are at the end of a particularly deadly and bloody year on the roads."

Among those killed this weekend were five Palestinians who died late Friday night in a collision between two cars on Road 60.

Local authorities previously said 99 people had died when the tanker exploded following a collision in the eastern Freetown suburb of Wellington.
