Dr. Yitzhak Yifat, from famed photo of Jerusalem's liberation in Six Day War, dies at 81

Dr. Yitzhak Yifat, iconic from the 1967 'The Crying Paratroopers' photo, passed away at 81. After the war, he became a respected obstetrician and gynecologist.

A liberator of the Western Wall: Remembering Abe Halon

One of the brave people who made that possible and touched the hearts of so many in our Jewish community is Avraham ben Dov Halon, who passed away on May 19 at age 77. 

 ABE HALON, who passed away at the age of 77, liberated the Western Wall with the 66th Battalion in the Six Day War. He lived as a proud Jew in Ohio, where he shared his love for art and Israel with the children at the Lori Schottenstein Chabad Center.
