Telegram, an encrypted messenger app founded in 2013, says it has more than 1 billion users and is widely used on both sides of the Russia-Ukraine war.

"It was a very positive meeting. You could see the chemistry between the leaders," a source familiar with the details told The Jerusalem Post. 

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Ukraine of widening the geographical scope of what he claimed were "terrorist attacks."

"Our number-one priority is anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with America. Peace needs to be brought closer," Zelensky stated on an X post.

One of the aides said the Senate was also expected to begin voting during Zelensky's visit on a bill to impose sanctions on Russia that was championed by Graham.

Davyd Aloian, who oversees the Freyja project, said that an international steering committee tasked with estimating the research and development costs was due to convene for the first time soon.

Ukrainian President Zelensky also said that Russia was teaching North Korea "how to wage war, improve its weapons, and gain real combat experience."

"Zelensky has attacked an Iranian commercial vessel, killing a sailor. A blatant UN Charter violation done at Israel's behest to drag Europe into its war," Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi claimed.

The Ukrainian President said Russian satellite surveillance is being given to Iranian authorities with a clear correlation between the intel and subsequent Iranian strikes in Gulf states.

Initial assessments indicated that the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit, although investigators are still examining all possible causes.
