Prosecutors say suspects, including three from Syria and four from northern Israel, exploited fighting in southern Syria to move guns, ammunition, and RPGs.

Three Turkish nationals were charged in Nazareth with plotting to smuggle pistols from Iran into Israel through Jordan, including one accused of aiding terror.

According to Urich’s attorneys, their client has not received investigation materials and evidence prior to his hearing, two fundamental rights in the Israeli legal system.

The annual “Public Complaints Commission on State Representatives in the Courts” report, authored by judge Prof. Menachem Finkelstein, found half the total complaints concerned the prosecution.

Israel Prison Service Chief Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi is suspected of informing a police officer of an undercover investigation into his activities.

The "challenging situation" in which the Jewish State has found itself has compelled the Attorney-General to effectuate her role as gatekeeper, the letter noted.  

"The data speaks for itself. It proves that minors from the ultra-Orthodox sector were the only ones prosecuted for passive unlawful assembly," the judge said.

The three were indicted for reportedly harassing Shlomo (Momo) Filber, the state's witness in the trial cases against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

MK Naama Lazimi's office was informed that the criminal investigation would be opened after her request to investigate the actions of Sara Netanyahu's "Uvda" program.
