Israeli TV series Bloody Murray, Fire Dance and Pradys all won awards at the prestigious international television competition Series Mania.

It won’t be the first time that Meir has been portrayed in a big production. But Israeli prime ministers beyond Meir haven’t exactly hogged screen time in Hollywood productions over the years.

Haas, who went to Los Angeles to take part in the event, accompanied by her agent, Zohar Yakobson, said Saturday night that she "feels immense pride as an Israeli actress."

The film, which is currently shooting, is being produced by Efrat Cohen (The Dive) of Tel Aviv University’s Gaudeamus Productions.
