IDF says Hamas finance official killed in same strike as second-in-command

Zaqout was responsible for recruiting and transferring tens of millions of dollars to the Qassam Brigades to support its operations against Israel.

Abdel Hay Zoqout, a member of Hamas's finance department, was killed two weeks ago in a joint operation by the IDF and the Shin Bet, IDF spokesman  Col. Avichai Edraei announced on Wednesday.
