With the election more than 14 months away, Trump, the former president, holds a wide lead among Republican voters in opinion polls despite his four criminal indictments.

61% of respondents said they were confident that Trump would beat Biden in the next election, while only 35% had the same confidence in DeSantis.

One of the memos suggests DeSantis should attack Democratic President Joe Biden three to five times and that he should take a "sledge-hammer" to Ramaswamy, a tech entrepreneur who has climbed polls.
