Greece has deployed a US-made Patriot air defense battery, operated by Greek personnel, in Saudi Arabia since 2021 under an agreement to help protect the kingdom's energy facilities.

The leaders of Britain and France pledged to provide Ukraine with stronger military support, including access to classified technology and faster deliveries of air defense missiles.

Sources close to the regime in Tehran warned that Iran may attack US military targets in Europe if US President Donald Trump escalated the conflict.

Ukraine agreed to not target non-Russian ships, so long as they were not sanctioned by Ukraine or carrying any Russian cargo.  

The IRGC used missiles that could suddenly change course, forcing the US to use scarce interceptor missiles, according to the reports.

Sources told the NYT that the shortage could last beyond the Trump administration’s tenure in office, leaving future presidencies vulnerable to Russian and Chinese attacks.

The discussions include an option for Ukraine to build some components for final assembly elsewhere in Europe, the sources added.

Despite previously publicly announcing that he would grant Kyiv the license to the surface-to-air interceptor missiles, Trump told the FT that he was “not sure” about the license.

Olha Stefanishyna told reporters that Ukraine was in discussions with the Pentagon about a license to produce Patriot PAC-3 missiles itself, but that process could take 12 months to five years.

The contract is expected to dramatically increase the United States' interceptor inventory, which has been depleted by the wars involving Iran and Ukraine
