Waves of sirens continue to sound across Israel following successive Iranian missile barrages. At least one person was injured by falling shrapnel.

Dr. Uzi Rubin tells The Media Line that stopping missiles at high altitude remains the only effective defense once submunitions are released.

Israel has taken the lead in assassinating top Iranian officials, with the US playing a minimal role, signaling a major shift in strategy amid escalating tensions.

Later, after Iran threatened Gulf states with retaliatory strikes, Qatar and Saudi Arabia reportedly intercepted multiple incoming missile barrages targeting oil and industrial sites.

The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) reported that the system is now operating on a faster mechanism for evacuations and assistance to citizens.

"We were in the bedroom on the upper floor," Chen Amir said. "We received the alert and went downstairs to the mamad... Half a minute from the siren going off, the missile fell here."
