Argentinian President Javier Milei criticized what he called a “corruption” of Western values, arguing that the global Left has lost its moral compass and was “siding with Hamas.”

Milei reaffirmed Argentina’s “unwavering commitment” to Israel and described the partnership as grounded in shared democratic values.

Milei’s visit offers Israel a rare diplomatic respite—a moment of warmth and alignment in an otherwise chilly international climate.

“What I saw in Judaism,” Milei explained after a visit to the Western Wall last year, “was the constant search for truth and spirituality, an endless journey of growth.”

The Genesis Prize Foundation (GPF) selected Milei earlier this year for what it called his “unequivocal support” of the Jewish state.

Milei's support for Israel has not wavered, and will travel to Israel as at least one Argentine citizen, Eitan Horn, remains in captivity.
