“Hamas is finished,” a Palestinian Authority official told The Jerusalem Post. “They understand that they no longer have legitimacy.”

There are a few answers to the major existential questions that have held the "Day After" in Gaza hostage. But the answers, good or bad, will likely start to become clearer in the coming months.

The interim governing body for Gaza will have 15 members, according to Witkoff, though their names have not been confirmed. It remains unclear how Hamas will be disarmed as required by the plan.

Six Hamas fighters were spotted by IDF surveillance on Tuesday, trying to surprise and ambush the military. After counter-fire and additional operations, all six terrorists were killed.
