Southern District Committee approves plan submission for new settlement, named after Oct. 7 soldier

The settlement will be located east of Kibbutz Sa’ad in the Gaza Envelope and will fall under the jurisdiction of the Sdot Negev Regional Council.

Gaza border communities struggling to recover six months after evacuation

There’s a sense the government has abandoned these communities, that there is a lack of caring for them, that there is no government here.

 On Kibbutz Nahal Oz, a community center has a large banner calling to bring the hostages home. Seven people were kidnapped from the community, and five have returned.
