The incident was tied to communication problems that have emerged since Marine One helicopter flights were moved off the White House south lawn in May.

A charter plane carrying two pilots and six passengers crashed near a remote Alaska radar station, with all eight people aboard confirmed dead.

The bus involved in the accident belonged to the Imbituva municipal health department and was heading to hospitals in the region of Parana's capital Curitiba.

Three people were killed when a helicopter crashed shortly after takeoff on the Greek island of Sifnos on Monday, according to fire brigade officials.

"My sincere condolences to the families of the victims. I am grateful to everyone who took part in the rescue efforts," Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar wrote. 

Fort Hood confirmed in a statement that an AH-64 attack helicopter crashed and two soldiers died but withheld their identification pending notification to their families.

The technology shares flight paths among helicopters, planes, and drones, providing real-time warnings and instructions without relying on centralized air traffic control.

Of the 19 passengers, 13 were safely taken to shore, three were taken to the hospital, two remain missing, and one was killed along with a dog on board.

The US military said no foul play is suspected in the incident, which also injured three additional sailors.

The victims were part of a group of 34 Buddhist monks and five lay followers undertaking a pilgrimage from a temple in Mukdahan province to another in neighboring Ubon Ratchathani province.
