EPS Chief Warren Driechel said in a statement that following events in Australia, and other conflicts around the world, he wanted to assure all faith communities that their safety was a priority.

Redlands resident Garrett Bailey Stater was charged with terrorizing and making terrorist threats in connection to the December 12 incident in which he fired several airsoft rounds from his vehicle.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting patients at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Authorities are investigating possible additional victims.
