For the first time since Iran entered Syria with thousands of troops and militia fighters, the Islamic Republic is reducing its forces and clearing out from bases in the war-torn country

Further airstrikes by unidentified aircraft on Iranian militias were reported near the Syria-Iraq border shortly after.

The advances have sent hundreds of thousands of Syrian civilians fleeing towards the border with Turkey in the biggest single displacement of the nine-year-old war.

Aleppo city has been under full Syrian government control since 2016, when pro-Damascus forces defeated rebels in the east of the city.

Last year, the ten students who are participants of the Sinai Scholars Society program at the liberal arts college jointly decided to donate their $350 participant stipends to fund an aid shipment.

During the tour in the North, the four referred to threats by Hezbollah and Syria.

The blasts also caused an electrical blackout in Aleppo, the country's second-largest city.

'The Israeli aggression targeted some positions in Sheikh Najjar industrial zone and a number of enemy missiles were brought down,' a Syrian army statement said.
