The B’Yachad joint slate, comprising former prime minister Naftali Bennett’s 2026 party and Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid, was projected to win between 12 and 13 seats in exit polls published by Channels 11, 12, and 13 on Tuesday night.
The projections would make B’Yachad the second-largest slate in the opposition bloc, following Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar.
The results put B’Yachad broadly in line with pre-election expectations, although its projected support remained well below the 24 seats Yesh Atid won independently in the November 2022 election.
In the final polls published before the election, KAN 11 and Channel 13 projected 14 seats for B’Yachad, while Channel 12 gave it 15. The exit polls therefore point to a result broadly consistent with the final polling picture, rather than a major late surge.
B'Yachad officials react to exit polls
Former prime minister Yair Lapid said the Netanyahu bloc had suffered a “crushing defeat” following the publication of television exit polls at 10:12 p.m. on election night. “This is a total collapse and the public has told them to go home,” Lapid added.
The Jerusalem Post was present at the B'Yachad headquarters when the exit polls were revealed.
The atmosphere was lackluster, with a relatively small turnout and low energy. There was no celebration following the revelation of 12-14 seats, and attendees seemed predominantly preoccupied with the high numbers of Arab seats and the predicted success of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu over Eisenkot in terms of seats.
This is a developing story.
