Netflix & Chill 2, Ben & Jerry’s

The ice cream giant is going through global upheavals, but in Israel it’s a different kind of shake. A shake of pleasure, in fact.

The collaboration between Ben & Jerry’s and Netflix already produced a very successful edition of the “Netflix & Chill” pint. Now, the second season arrives and proves that there is taste in continuity. A lot of taste.

Netflix & Chill 2 is based on rich and dense caramel and chocolate ice cream, and adds to them a swirl of cookie crumbs, chocolate chip cookie dough, and peanut butter cookie dough. The result is excellent in texture, provides surprises and interest in every movement of the spoon (the ladle, who are we kidding?), and works wonderfully in front of the screen, and long after it goes dark. Price: NIS 24.90 for a 500-gram box.

The successful debut led to a continuation here as well, with an extended launch of new flavors in the chocolate chain’s protein bar series.

The fresh new members of Max Brenner’s Pro club are Dubai chocolate and milk chocolate with salted caramel (18 grams of protein), pistachio cream coated in white chocolate (20 grams of protein), as well as milk chocolate and caramel cookies (21 grams of protein). All of them maintain the high standard from the start, with excellent texture, flavors on the pampering-decadent side, and overall excellence. Price: NIS 14.90–17.90.

Pro Yogurt, Euro Dairy Europe

Staying in the protein world: The diverse dairy company is landing in Israel, through Willy Food, with a new and intriguing collection, with high statements in the field.

The Pro series by Euro Dairy Europe is produced in Greece and relies on the local and popular yogurt format – lactose-free and without white sugar. It offers yogurts and drinks in natural flavor and in coconut, peach, apricot, strawberry, banana, and cookie-vanilla flavors, and contains 20 grams of protein per cup and 25 grams of protein per bottle. The texture is very thick as expected, the fruit flavors are pronounced, and in the end, the natural yogurt wins. That’s how it is with the Greeks.

Seed and Nut Snack and Bread Mix, Keto Chef

The ketogenic food brand continues to expand its offerings with a double launch, of course aimed at low-carb nutrition.

Egozito is a seed and nut snack without added sugar or artificial sweeteners (2.4 grams of carbs per bar, 5 grams of protein, and 13 grams of fat), starting savory and adding a delicate sweetness as the way goes on. It is based on technology that eliminates the use of syrup or honey for “binding” and instead provides things as they are – natural and tasty. Price: NIS 27 for a package of three 30-gram units.

The keto bread mix (9 grams of carbs per 100 grams of baked bread), based on almond flour, egg protein powder, and psyllium, is intended to shorten processes and times. It requires mixing with cottage cheese or thick yogurt and then goes into a loaf pan, buns, or even pitas – and into the oven (about half an hour at 180 degrees). The result is a beautiful, homemade, warm loaf, with a surprising texture for the genre and a taste that definitely meets the bar. Price: NIS 46–49 for a 350-gram bag, with a QR code leading to a recipe.
