Since Kianne Frankfurt launched her debut collection, “Belonging to the Sun,” for the KianneNE brand, she has managed to magnetize a clientele that maybe-maybe came because of the last name – but certainly stayed for the creation. “I really feel supported and that my place, my path, and my pace are so well embraced. I mean, it almost surprised me even, the hug I received from the industry. I was in shock from the initial impact when the debut collection came out, truly. I remember sitting on the floor of my studio and crying from excitement, and from the recognition I received,” she said in an interview with Walla Fashion last January, with the launch of the second drop.
Now, she takes the smooth and classic balloon silhouettes she designed then – and flows into a limited-edition capsule collection, led by romantic lace cuts. A line born out of a yearning for softness within the complexity, for quiet movement. The new set of garments, which can already be found on the online site or at the Tel Aviv studio by appointment, is made up of clean lines alongside soft volumes, lace transparency alongside brushed satin, and touches of mother-of-pearl buttons. The items move between light and shadow, monochromatic shades signaling quiet confidence, a contrast of black and cream.
Thin button-down shirts, high collars, airy skirts, and body-wrapping dresses are accompanied by freedom through low waists, thin straps, and flowing backs. Each item is a suggestion for a moment of daily romance – the kind born precisely when everything feels uncertain. The clothes do not pretend to solve anything, only ask to remind that there is room for softness, beauty, and hope.
“In the everyday where uncertainty shifts and rages, I look for a small, soft corner of romance that isn’t a love story, but a choice,” Kianne explains. “It’s an intimate diary of body and soul, a collection born out of love – love for the place we call home and above all, for the woman who chooses a dream.”
Every thread and silhouette in the current drop manages to echo at least a touch of caressing optimism found not only in moments, but also in every breath. An excellent selection of options that can easily be integrated into the upcoming Tishrei holiday season. The price range is between NIS 320 for a skirt at the most accessible price, and NIS 1,200 for one of the new dresses available.
