Israel killed Hussein Ali Tohmeh, a Hezbollah operative responsible for the terrorist group’s logistical support in the Qana region of southern Lebanon, on October 14, the IDF reported Wednesday.
During the war between Israel and Hezbollah, Tohmeh had worked to transfer weapons in an effort to reestablish Hezbollah’s military capabilities near Israel’s border, it said.
IDF strikes against Hezbollah
The attempt to reestablish Hezbollah’s military assets was a violation of the agreement between Israel and Lebanon, it added.
On Tuesday, the Lebanese Armed Forces said it had run out of explosive supplies it was using to keep Hezbollah in check.
On Monday, Israel killed two Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon, the IDF reported Tuesday.
The strike near al-Biyad killed Hussein Ibrahim Suleiman, who was a member of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, and Hassan Ibrahim Suleiman, it said.
On Sunday, the IDF said it had killed two terrorists who violated the truce agreement.
