Two Jerusalem residents have been indicted for allegedly planning to carry out a terrorist attack against IDF soldiers in the Anatot base, Israeli media reported on Sunday.
The two residents, Hussein Ghanayem and Abd al-Rahim Hamida, allegedly planned to throw an explosive device at the base.
In a separate incident over the weekend, Israel Police officers in Kiryat Ata seized weapons that were being transferred to criminal gangs, and discovered an explosive device in an open area that was ready for use. Police added that they found the unexploded device shortly before a criminal assasination attempt in the area.
The investigation is still ongoing, and police expect to make arrests later.
Police find knife used in murder of young man in Beersheba
In another separate incident, police found the knife used to kill Destao Tsakol, 19, in Beersheba.
A prosecutor's statement was filed against the four minors who are suspects in the case.
In an incident in Hadera, the police and IDF soldiers searched a suspect's home and found stun grenades, a cache of ammunition, and drugs in commercial quantities.
In the same operation, police dismantled three cameras that were installed in public areas.
The suspect, a 31-year-old man from Netanya, was detained for questioning.
