Officers from the Jaffa Police Station launched an investigation early Friday into a suspected attempted murder at a residential building on Herzl Avenue in Tel Aviv, where a 24-year-old man was seriously wounded by gunfire.
The man, a resident of Huwara who is in Israel illegally, was found in critical condition. Twelve other individuals, also believed to be residing in Israel illegally, were apprehended at the scene.
Cmdr. Daniel Haddad, head of the Ayalon District, conducted a situation assessment at the location and directed the formation of a special investigative team within the district.
