The assisted living network Ad 120 continues to invest in advanced health technologies and is launching a digital gym in Israel, tailored for seniors. The new facility has opened at the network’s residence in Ramat Hahayal, Tel Aviv, with an investment of approximately NIS 1 million.
The project was established in collaboration with Energym, part of the Movement Group, and is based on integrating advanced fitness equipment, medical technology, and artificial intelligence, with the aim of creating a safe and personalized training experience for seniors.
The new gym is based on the Milon training system, which includes fitness machines that operate with computerized resistance instead of traditional weights. Upon entering the training area, residents undergo a scan using a “smart kiosk” that analyzes their physical data and conducts strength and aerobic tests.
At the end of the assessment, a personalized training program is created for each resident and embedded into a smart wristband. By placing the wristband on the fitness machines, the system automatically adjusts the equipment according to body measurements, physical ability, and progress within the training program.
In addition, all data collected during the workout is synchronized in real time with a dedicated app and the gym’s computer system, enabling professional monitoring of the trainees’ progress. The facility also includes a unique stretching area made of natural wood from Germany’s Black Forest, designed to improve muscle flexibility and reduce pain.
According to Tomer Rosenberg, CEO of the network, the initiative is part of the longevity trend the company has been promoting in recent years. “We are proud to launch an AI-based digital gym tailored for seniors. Residents benefit from the most advanced fitness equipment and a holistic training approach that combines medical technology and artificial intelligence,” he said.
Energym also emphasizes the potential of this technology in senior healthcare. The company’s CEO, Yair Rosen, stated: “Making fitness innovation accessible to seniors is our mission. These systems enable every user to maximize their physical potential while significantly reducing the risk of injury.”
