Two brands from different worlds come together to create a new culinary experience in cinemas: TABASCO, the hot pepper sauce brand, and PLANET, the cinema chain, are jointly launching TABASCO popcorn in a special edition. This unique collaboration combines the classic taste of popcorn with the precise spiciness of TABASCO—crispy with a piquant twist that adds interest alongside movie watching. The goal is to add subtle heat and an unexpected twist that will make the snack an integral part of the viewing experience.
TABASCO sauce was founded in 1868 and has been adding flavor to dishes worldwide ever since. The iconic sauce is made from only three ingredients—peppers, vinegar, and salt—that are aged in oak barrels for up to three years. TABASCO is now sold in 195 countries and is considered one of the most recognized and beloved sauces in the world. This new initiative joins a series of culinary collaborations the company has created in Israel over the past year, including TABASCO beefburger with the "Fries Texas" burger chain and TABASCO nachos pizza with the "Pizza Yoav" chain.
TABASCO popcorn will be launched at all PLANET locations across the country: Rishon Lezion, Haifa, Jerusalem, Beersheba, Zichron Ya’acov, and Ayalon (Ramat Gan) at a price of NIS 31 for the regular size, while supplies last.
