The tami4 brand, from Strauss Water, is launching tami4shabbat – an innovative water dispenser that combines tami4’s advanced water purification technology, tami4maze, one of the most advanced in the world, providing high-quality, tasty water all week and approved for use on Shabbat and holidays.
The water dispenser provides hot and cold water throughout Shabbat, with high safety and no risk of violating Shabbat. The product was developed with close Halachic supervision by Badatz Rubin, which granted an exclusive seal imprinted on the device.
The new water dispenser is part of Strauss Water’s broad response to a variety of customers, reflected among other things in the expansion of Strauss Water’s water solutions portfolio, entry into new and growing categories in the beverage solutions market, and expansion of the device range, including: tami4tap, tami4amiad, expansion of the sparkling water category with tami4edge+bubble, tami4mini (hot/cold), and more.
Supervision by Badatz Mehadrin Rubin: Imprinted Kosher Certification
tami4shabbat is the only water dispenser in its category with a seal imprinted on the device, ensuring compliance with all strict Halachic requirements. The device offers complete separation between hot and cold water and between Shabbat mode and weekdays, with a unique water purifier that does not violate Shabbat.
Maximum Convenience and Safety
On weekdays, the water dispenser operates with the push of a button. Before Shabbat begins, it automatically or manually switches to Shabbat mode. In this mode, all buttons are disabled, and the display shows “Shabbat Shalom.”
Water operation on Shabbat is via a mechanical lever, ensuring simple and safe use, even for children.
The hot water tank, with a capacity of about 6.5 liters—the largest in its category—provides approximately 40 cups of hot water throughout Shabbat, with maximum safety and convenience.
Additionally, the water dispenser features a water meter showing the amount of hot water remaining for use on Shabbat. Cold water is available without limitation via a dedicated Shabbat cooling routine, which ensures the cold water is chilled during Shabbat and holidays (simulating refrigerator cooling activity). The system operates continuously regardless of customer use.

The new device, tami4shabbat, is part of Strauss Water’s shift to a multi-product model, reflected in the expansion of Strauss Water’s water solutions portfolio, entry into new and growing beverage categories, and expansion of the device range:
tami4tap – The only under-sink water system with MAZE water purifier, one of the most advanced in the world, for high-quality, tasty water.
tami4amiad – A series of home water filtration systems installed on the main faucet. Provides a technological solution to reduce limescale in pipes and household appliances, ensuring their proper function. The technology is based on polyphosphate beads, reducing limescale buildup by up to 85%, and certified by the Israeli Standards Institute for drinking water.
tami4edge+bubble – A new advanced water dispenser expanding tami4’s sparkling water category, part of the Bubble series. The innovative design includes two devices: Edge Plus for hot, cold, and room-temperature water, and the carbonation device for lightly sparkling water.
tami4mini HOT – A device with a tank dispensing hot filtered water and room-temperature water at the push of a button. Compact, elegant, easy to install and use anywhere, and affordably priced. Combines a descaling filter with a 5-liter capacity and instant boiling only for the amount needed.
Cold Pro – Launching in England. A device dispensing cold filtered water and room-temperature water. Designed, easy to install and use anywhere, affordable. Suitable for young employees, students, and soldiers. No installation needed; portable, with only an electrical connection.
Price
The new Tami4shabbat will be launched in an all-inclusive plan for 3 or 4 years, including the water dispenser, installation, service, and full warranty for the entire period, with maze water purifiers supplied to the customer’s home every six months, at a price of NIS 159 per month for the 36-month (3-year) plan, and NIS 135 per month for the 48-month (4-year) plan.
Existing tami4 customers will benefit from an upgrade price: NIS 149 per month for the 36-month (3-year) plan, and NIS 127 per month for the 48-month (4-year) plan.
