Under a different Israeli government, many things that appear impossible today could suddenly become politically possible.

How many people living between the river and the sea are not living under constant stress?

If we want a different future, Israelis must be willing to confront the possibility that, from the Palestinian perspective, the political horizon has effectively disappeared.

With the support of moderate Arab states, it is possible to re-center the entire regional agenda on resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Israel will only have real security when the Palestinians have real freedom, and the Palestinians will only have real freedom when Israel has real security.

Peace usually begins not with trust but with exhaustion. When both sides conclude that war no longer serves their interests, diplomacy becomes thinkable.

Force can weaken enemies, but it does not eliminate them nor resolve the underlying conflicts.

If the political situation after the war looks exactly like it did before the war, or worse, the region will have paid an enormous price for very little strategic gain.

What will happen if Iranian citizens are once again encouraged by foreign leaders including President Donald Trump to take to the streets is impossible to predict.
