The main screen at the campaign headquarters of newly-elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's Tuesday night election party displayed an image that read, "TRUMP IS YOUR PRESIDENT."

The image was styled to mimic the New York Knicks logo. The source of the hacking is unknown at the time.

The very same image was posted to The White House X/Twitter page two hours before it appeared on the screen.

After the image appeared, Mamdani got up to give his election speech and had a specific message for US President Donald Trump.

Mamdani tells Trump to 'turn the volume up'

"So, Donald Trump, since I know you’re watching, I have four words for you: Turn the volume up," Mamdani announced.

In his speech, Zohran Mamdani framed his victory as both a rejection of Donald Trump and the conditions that allowed him to gain power.

He pledged to confront corruption and economic exploitation in New York, saying his administration would hold predatory landlords accountable, end tax loopholes for billionaires like Trump specifically, and strengthen workers’ rights through expanded labor protections.

Mamdani also celebrated New York’s immigrant identity, calling it a city “built by immigrants, powered by immigrants, and now led by an immigrant,” in direct response to Trump's statements on illegal immigrants in New York City.

"So hear me, President Trump, when I say this: To get to any of us, you will have to get through all of us. When we enter City Hall in 58 days, expectations will be high. We will meet them," Mamdani concluded.
