Anyone visiting family in the Krayot, attending a conference, or going to a wedding in the region currently has to look for accommodation in Haifa, as there are no hotels in the Krayot itself. In three years, however, that dynamic is set to change. Last week, the Shatit Group received a building permit to construct Park Eden in Kiryat Motzkin - the first hotel in the Krayot.
The hotel will be constructed by Mamash Hotels, a subsidiary of the Shatit Group, which previously won a tender issued by the Israel Land Authority. The investment is estimated at approximately NIS 55 million. Spanning about 7,500 square meters - along with an additional 1,500 square meters of balconies - the hotel will offer around 100 rooms, including spacious options tailored for families. Construction is expected to be completed in 2029.
Designed primarily for family vacations on weekends and holidays, the hotel will feature dedicated activities for children and on-site attractions, complemented by a rooftop pool and spa. In addition, the complex will offer event and conference halls, as well as dedicated suites for brides preparing for their weddings. The hotel will be situated in a residential neighborhood of Kiryat Motzkin, offering convenient access to Haifa and the nearby beaches.
"We like to lead pioneering moves and develop projects in locations with untapped potential," said Shalom Shitrit, owner of the Shatit Group. According to him, this was also the case with the Kedem Hotel in Tirat Carmel, which the group previously established.
