Israeli special forces allegedly entered the Syrian village of Yaafour, around 10 km away from Damascus, via helicopter landings, Israeli media reported, citing Hezbollah-affiliated network Al Mayadeen.
According to the report, three helicopters allegedly landed at the site, which once belonged to the Republican Guard under Bashar al-Assad's regime.
The Israeli forces searched the area and left the scene after five hours.
Reports claimed that Israeli forces entered the village of Rakhlah, around 30 km west of Damascus and near the Lebanese border, which included three armored vehicles.
