Soldiers from the 188th Armored Brigade operating in the southern Gaza Strip identified two terrorists who crossed the yellow line separating Israeli forces and Hamas in Gaza and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat, the military confirmed on Sunday.

Immediately after identification, the forces killed one of the terrorists to remove the threat.

In another incident in the northern Gaza Strip, soldiers from the IDF’s Reserve Infantry Alexandroni Brigade identified three terrorists who crossed the Yellow Line and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat.

Phase II begins, Board of Peace takes shape as Hamas terrorists refuse to disarm

Gaza's Board of Peace has begun to take shape, including confirmed founding members such as US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and former British prime minister Tony Blair.

Additionally, the technocratic government to rule over the Gaza administration, formally known as "The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG)" was established on Sunday, officially beginning its work to oversee the strip.

Further, Trump named Maj.-Gen. Jasper Jeffers as commander of the International Stabilization Force.

However, despite claims made in Hamas's official media outlet SAFA, that the terror group would be handing over all their weapons to NCAG, previous statements by Hamas leaders, including Khaled Mashaal, indicate that they will not do so, nor allow ISF to oversee the strip.

The US will be engaging in conversations with Hamas on demilitarization and will discuss what amnesty program can be given to Hamas with Israel, US officials said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

While Israel is still skeptical about Hamas disarming, Trump still believes that it will be difficult but possible.

"The goal here is to create the alternative to Hamas that wants that peace, figure out how to empower them," the official said, referring to a new committee of Palestinian technocrats as a new "government" for Gaza.
