Freed hostages Gali and Ziv Berman attended the pre-premiere show of the Festigal event, lighting the venue at Tel Aviv's Expo Center on Wednesday evening, N12 reported.
The twins worked as lighting technicians for five years, until terrorists kidnapped them during the October 7 massacre.
"We are really excited to be here with you," the brothers said.
"You will bring us the light of Hanukkah and light to the State of Israel," Festigal Director Hanoch Rosen told them.
"It is a great Hanukkah miracle that Gali and Ziv are here with us after 738 days in captivity," Rosen said.
The twins, going on stage to wide applause, addressed the crowd.
"Last year, the Festigal gave our voice when we could not be heard. Not only our voice, but also the voice of the other 251 hostages who were then held in captivity," Gali said.
Gali Berman: 'We hope for Ran Gvili's return soon'
"We want to remind you that [St.-Sgt.-Maj.] Ran Gvili is still held hostage, and we hope he will be returned for a proper burial as soon as possible," Gali added.
"We did five Festigals. It is like our second family," Ziv said.
"We went through some beautiful and funny times, and we are really excited to be here with you. During the war, the Festigal brought light during the dark times. We want to thank you for who you are, for everything you do. You are amazing, we love you," Ziv continued.
The Israeli-German twins were released from captivity in October.
