A female soldier was lightly wounded in a ramming attack at an intersection in the area of Hebron on Monday night, the IDF announced.

Security forces located and killed the suspect in Monday evening’s vehicle-ramming attack at Judea Junction, according to a joint statement from the IDF and the ISA.

The incident occurred when the suspect accelerated a vehicle toward IDF soldiers, injuring a female soldier before fleeing. Security forces began an intelligence-based search following the attack.

Overnight, forces identified the suspect in the Hebron area inside the vehicle used in the ramming. During the attempt to detain him, the suspect tried to flee and, according to the statement, endangered the troops. The forces fired live rounds and killed him.

The wounded soldier was evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment, the military clarified. IDF troops were dispatched to the area following the reports of the attack, the military said.

One woman in her 40s was severely wounded, and two others, a 30-year-old and a 15-year-old, were moderately wounded in the attack.

Cohen, a widower, leaves behind six children and many grandchildren.

Two terrorists arrived in a vehicle at the junction, drove into the civilians standing nearby, then exited the vehicle and attempted to stab them.

They were killed by reservists who happened to be in the area. The terrorists were identified as Ibrahim Imran al-Atrash, 18, from Hebron, and Walid Muhammad Khalil Sabarneh, 18, from Beit Umar, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Health Ministry.

Two Israeli teenagers were injured on September 30 in a combined ramming and stabbing attack at the Al-Khader junction on Highway 60, south of Jerusalem.

The terrorist, reportedly a resident of Beit Fajar in the West Bank, drove his vehicle toward civilians standing on the roadside, striking two boys aged 15 and 16. He then exited the vehicle carrying a knife and was neutralized by gunfire, reportedly from a nearby civilian. The attacker was seriously injured at the scene.
