Soldiers of the IDF's Duvdevan commando unit, responsible for undercover counterterror operations in the West Bank, killed a terrorist who threw concrete blocks at them during a covert operation in Nablus on Wednesday, the military confirmed.

The operation's original goal, which was led by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), was to arrest a wanted terrorist for conducting terror activity in the Balata refugee camp.

Duvdevan soldiers raided the building where the terrorist was located and arrested him.

While the operation was ongoing, the soldiers noticed a second terrorist throwing concrete blocks at them from the roof of a nearby building. They responded with live fire, killing him.

On August 26, an operation led by Duvdevan soldiers, along with IDF reservists and border police officers, seized hundreds of thousands of terror funds and arrested a few individuals connected to the funds in a raid on a Ramallah bank, the military confirmed to The Jerusalem Post.
