The IDF on Friday decided that it would demolish the homes of three terrorists who killed Israelis in three different shooting attacks in the last year, the military announced on Monday.
On August 11, 2024, Wael Lahlou, along with several others, carried out a severe shooting attack near the Mehola Junction on Highway 90 in the Jordan Valley, killing Yehonatan Deutsch, 23, from Beit She'an, and wounding another. Lahlou's home is in Kabatiya near Jenin.
On January 6 of this year, Muhammad Nazal and Muhammad Zakharna carried out a shooting attack on Highway 55 near the Palestinian town of Al-Funduq in the northern West Bank, killing Rachel Cohen, 73, Aliza Reiss, 70, both from Kedumim, and Israel Police St.-Sgt.-Maj. Elad Yaakov Winkelstein, 35, from Kibbutz Ein Hanatziv.
Nazal and Zakharna's homes are in Kabatiya as well.
On February 4, Muhammad Daraghmeh shot and killed IDF Warr.-Ofc. (res.) Ofer Yung, 39, and Warr. Ofc. (res.) Avraham Tzvi Tzvika Friedman, 43, at an outpost near Tayasir. The attack left eight soldiers wounded, two of them seriously.
Daraghmeh's home is in Tubas.
