The United Kingdom emerged as this week's global antisemitism hotspot, accounting for 37% of all incidents (37 of 100) recorded by CAM's Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) - with 34 monitored in London alone.
The London surge was driven by the "National March for Palestine" held in the British capital, just ahead of the swearing-in of Andy Burnham as the new UK prime minister. The march was rife with antisemitic messaging built on classical tropes about Jewish financial, cultural, media, and political control of world affairs, including references to "Zionist tentacles everywhere."
The ARC documented a sharp rise in incidents involving acts or threats of physical violence this week, with 15 incidents recorded, including an axe and knife attack on a group of Israeli tourists in Mongolia and vulgar letters sent to the homes of Jewish American leaders.

United States: A 21-year-old suspect was arrested after police said he threatened to go to Temple Israel in Memphis, Tennessee, and "shoot the Jews."
France: Two Jewish men were assaulted by a passerby shouting antisemitic insults outside La Celle-Saint-Cloud Synagogue in Yvelines, near Paris.
Germany: A man wearing an Israel pin was brutally beaten by Syrian migrant in the southern town of Höchberg, suffering serious injuries.

Data on Antisemitic Incidents
The latest Global Antisemitism Report highlights 100 new incidents of antisemitism monitored worldwide by the Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM during the past week.
Of the 73 incidents attributable to an ideological motivation, 63.0% were Far-Left (46 incidents), 19.2% Far-Right (14), and 17.8% Islamist-Inspired (13 incidents).
