Two police special forces in the Asia-Pacific region have signed contracts with the Kfar Netter-based Israeli company Camero-Tech for the delivery of its advanced XAVER 400 imaging systems, amid growing global requirements for innovative tactical awareness gear.

The deal underscores continuing demand for Israeli defense technology despite shifting political currents in parts of Europe and North America.

The XAVER 400 is a Sense Through The Wall (STTW) radar imaging system that provides tactical and rescue teams operational visibility into what is hidden behind walls and barriers. Its speed and simplicity in high-stakes environments allow it to provide mission-critical data with ease.

Camero-Tech’s founder and CEO, Amir Beeri, explained that its systems provide tactical units with “an unprecedented operational edge, the ability to ‘see the unseen’ before taking action.”

The XAVER line is used across nearly 60 countries in defense, law enforcement, and search and rescue. Its technology provides teams with real-time situational awareness and vital intelligence in advance of breaching the space.

At a time when some Western countries have been moving to reduce trade with Israel, such partnerships with Asian and Pacific countries provide important recognition of the relevance of Israeli tech.

Ilan Abramovich, vice president of Camero-Tech said that the company was “proud to strengthen our partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region, a fast-growing market with increasing demand for advanced situational awareness technologies.”

According to GlobalData, defense spending in Asia is trending upward and expected to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 4% over the next five years, positioning Israeli defense firms to expand in the region.

XAVER 400 in police operations

Sense Through The Wall imaging systems help teams accurately understand situations before they enter them by revealing the number and location of people hidden from direct view.

XAVER 400 functions through advanced ultra-wideband (UWB) sensing technology and Camero-Tech’s image reconstruction algorithms to deliver clear and reliable imaging despite cluttered and complex environments.

The system will be used by police special forces in anti-terror operations, building assaults, explosive breaching, kidnapping rescues, high-risk arrests, and anti-drug raids, providing operators with actionable STTW visuals that increase understanding of the situation's complexity. This allows for safer and faster decisions in dangerous operations.

“From counter-terrorism to high-risk law enforcement missions, the XAVER 400 provides mission-critical intelligence that transforms uncertainty into clarity,” Beeri said.

STTW pioneer

Camero-Tech is a pioneer in STTW radar imaging and a leading developer of UWB micro-power radio imaging systems. Founded in 2004, its life-saving imaging systems have been successfully deployed across the globe.

“Camero-Tech is committed to supporting our partners with the most reliable and field-proven solutions, ensuring that every operation is informed, efficient, and decisive,” Abramovich said.

Its parent company, SK Group, founded by Israeli industrialist Samy Katsav, drives innovation across multiple strategic industries – serving military, law enforcement, and civilian markets. Its combat-proven technologies are an outgrowth of Israel’s leading defense industry.
