Ahead of the opening of a new medical center in Dimona in a month, the Mayor of Dimona, Beni Biton, met with the Head of the Southern District at Maccabi Healthcare Services, Brig. Gen. (res.) Michal Teshuva, together with the manager of the Eastern Negev region at Maccabi, Michal Hausman. The meeting was held, as mentioned, against the backdrop of the expansion of Maccabi’s activity in the city and ahead of the official opening of the new medical center in Dimri Center next month.

During the meeting, Teshuva reviewed for the mayor Maccabi’s work plans in Dimona and the existing operational framework in the city. The parties discussed further strengthening community healthcare services, expanding medical responses for residents, and creating additional collaborations that will suit the needs of the city’s growing diverse population.

At the end of the meeting, the parties toured the new medical center in Dimri Center, which provides the residents of Dimona and the surrounding area with advanced, accessible, and broader medical services as part of the initiative led by Maccabi to strengthen healthcare services in the Eastern Negev.
