The Netivot branch is the second to open as part of the acquisition of three branches from the Shefa Birkhat Hashem chain. After the branch opening in Afula, it is now Netivot’s turn. Additionally, next month Carrefour will open another giant hypermarket in Ofakim, illustrating the chain’s strategic expansion in the periphery and across the country.

The new branch offers an exceptional international shopping experience, reminiscent of the grand designs of Carrefour stores in Dubai and Europe: Wide spaces, modern design, and planning that allows for comfortable shopping in a unique atmosphere. Customers will enjoy top-tier fresh departments – premium fruits and vegetables, freshly baked goods daily, quality fish, and a wide variety of cheeses. The highlight is the huge La Marche butcher shop, operating under strict kosher certifications and offering a broad range of fresh meats of uncompromising quality.

Michael Luboshitz, CEO of Carrefour Israel: “The opening of the hypermarket in Netivot is much more than launching a store – it is a clear message about Carrefour’s commitment to bringing the international standard to peripheral cities. We are proud to offer Netivot residents a shopping experience unlike any seen in Israel, with European quality, an enormous variety, and affordable prices for every family.”
