The Israel Electric Corporation is launching an innovative initiative designed to connect the younger generation with the rules of electrical safety. In collaboration with teenk agency and the Israeli start-up ReachPlayers, a special space has been created on the ROBLOX platform, showcasing the Safety Heroes challenge – a unique campaign for children and teens that allows them to experience everyday scenarios and instills values of safe behavior and personal responsibility regarding electricity.
Upon entering the game, children meet the beloved characters Socket and Plug, who guide them through a series of challenges simulating hazardous situations, such as using electrical devices with wet hands, exposed cables, open electrical cabinets, and more. Each stage incorporates gaming elements, animated dialogues, and explanations that bridge the world of gaming with real-life situations, all with one goal: To turn children into safety ambassadors.
Throughout the game, players answer interactive quizzes, collect points, complete missions, and receive prizes, all while learning how to recognize dangers and act cautiously.
Meir Spiegler, CEO of the Israel Electric Corporation: "The connection between education, innovation, and technology enables us to broaden awareness of the risks involved in access to electricity, for the sake of being able to enjoy it without harm."
