Samsung announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in New York on July 9 at 17:00 Israel time. At the event, the company is expected to unveil the new generation of foldable devices — the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 — along with additional products from the wearable and software realms.
The launch will be broadcast live via Samsung’s website, its official YouTube channel, and other company platforms. In addition to the foldable models, Samsung is also expected to present the Galaxy Watch 8 series, as well as a new premium model called Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025.
In recent weeks, rumors have circulated about an additional foldable device under the "Ultra" brand, but it seems these refer to technical upgrades in existing models — mainly the Fold 7 — and not to a separate device.
Additionally, Samsung may use the Unpacked stage to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE — the mid-range version of the upcoming flagship series. However, due to the company’s launch policies, it is uncertain whether the device will be revealed at the same event.
The event is also expected to feature software innovations, chief among them a stable version of the One UI 8 interface based on Android 16. The new models are expected to be the first to come with this system out of the box and include new AI-based features as part of the expansion of Galaxy AI capabilities.
