The international technology company TCL, one of the world's leading companies in the fields of television screens, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and mobile phones, is launching a strategic move to expand its operations in the Israeli market. As part of this move, the international company is expanding the range of products it will market in Israel and has signed new distribution agreements aimed at strengthening its local presence and positioning itself as a significant player in various consumer categories.
In the fields of television screens, professional monitors, computer monitors, and soundbars—a field that has already seen significant growth and reached a double-digit market share—TCL has chosen C-Data, the largest and leading distribution company in Israel in the computing and information security market and the official distributor of Apple products, as its new official distributor in Israel. C-Data will replace SG, which recently ended approximately 20 years of joint activity with the brand. Electronics Pro has been selected as the service provider and authorized installer for TCL televisions, including installation and guidance by a certified installer, support for malfunctions, and repairs.
Electra Consumer Products Group has received the franchise to market TCL’s white goods in Israel, including washing machines, refrigerators, and additional categories expected to be added later. In addition, the group will continue to market TCL television screens in the Mahsanei Hashmal and Shekem Electric chains owned by the group. Retphone will provide service and installation for television screens imported by Electra Consumer Products, and Flerom will provide service and installation for white goods.
In the air conditioner segment, Electrofresco Ltd. was chosen—one of the leading companies in Israel in the import and marketing of electrical products, household electrical appliances, and kitchenware.
Timo Shu, Director of TCL’s Middle East operations, stated: “We are positioned at a strategic launch point in the local market, with the upcoming launch of a wide range of new products and technologies. Alongside a powerful new distribution system, we are prepared to meet growing demand and expand categories. This move is expected to lead to a significant increase in market shares, through a combination of innovation, high technological quality, and competitive and accessible pricing for the Israeli consumer.”
Oded Dagan has been leading TCL’s operations in Israel for the third consecutive year, achieving consistent and significant growth in market share year after year. At the same time, Wolf Communications and Public Relations was chosen to manage TCL’s public relations, digital presence, and influencer collaborations in Israel. The activity will be led by Limor Rosenthal and Erez Benk, partners in the company.
