At the Jerusalem Post Washington Conference Gala, Meridianbet CEO Zoran Milosevic spoke of his company’s global rise and its reliance on Israeli innovation.

Milosevic shared a rare and personal insight into why his multinational company has heavily incorporated Israel into its technological strategy. Usually focused on business operations rather than public statements, Milosevic openly expressed his admiration and loyalty. “Being a supporter of Israel is our ethical, moral, and strategic stance,” he stated. “We don’t separate leadership and business from our values.” He began by thanking the organizers.

His words made clear that, for him, Israel is not only a vital business partner but also a country whose identity and resilience he deeply respects. “Israel symbolizes innovation, resilience, and moral clarity,” he said, describing these qualities as “integral to everything we do.”

“We are a technology firm developing proprietary software solutions for all gaming sectors,” he explained. Meridianbet employs 1,400 staff members and supplies systems to 25 countries across five continents through both B2B and B2C channels.

The company went public on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange two years ago and has since expanded, entering the United States and Brazil and preparing to launch in Mexico next year. Milosevic described this journey as “a testament to the strength of our technological foundation and the partners who have helped build it.” He emphasized that this foundation is mainly Israeli. “Israeli companies are number one when it comes to the gaming business,” he said. “We are successfully partnering with almost all major gaming companies from Israel, and we are very proud of these partnerships.” He added that their technologies are “deeply embedded into our system,” shaping the architecture “in almost every layer” of Meridianbet’s platform.

Israeli contributions are especially prominent in cybersecurity, data protection, automated compliance, and payments, each a key part of what Milosevic called the “financial infrastructure” behind the gaming industry. Milosevic also talked about how resilient the industry is during economic downturns. “Gaming is quite resilient when it comes to problems with the economy,” he noted, adding that the sector “still doesn’t feel major impacts from the current crisis.” “Values are deeply embedded in everything we do,” he concluded. “Supporting Israel is part of who we are.”
