Dan Partouche

Dan Partouche was born in Algeria in 1936. He immigrated to Israel at the age of 18, studied at the Avni Institute, and later, in Saint Martins School of Art in London, specializing in serigraphy and painting. In the early 1980’s he lived and worked in Paris. In the early stages of his artistic career, Partouche’s work was primarily based on abstract style, following the influence of the Ofakim Hadashim (New Horizons) artists, such as Streichman and Stematsky. In his later work, Partouche focused on still life pastel painting, mainly flowers. Partouche’s pastel paintings create glorious harmony- a celebration of nature and colors.
